Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the general approach of StridEdge (“we”, “us” or “our”) to payments for custom web development, software development, mobile application development and related services. The accepted project proposal or written agreement takes precedence where it sets out specific payment or cancellation terms, subject to applicable law.
1. Custom services
Our services may involve discovery, planning, design, development, testing and other work performed specifically for a client. Refund eligibility depends on the agreed scope, work completed, payment milestones, third-party commitments and applicable law. We do not promise an automatic refund simply because a client changes their mind after work has begun.
2. Deposits and advance payments
The applicable proposal or agreement should state the purpose of any deposit or advance, whether it is refundable, and how it will be treated if a project is paused or cancelled. Any refund restriction is subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
3. Client cancellation
If you wish to cancel a project, notify us in writing using the contact details below. We will review the project agreement, work performed, amounts paid, outstanding amounts and any non-cancellable third-party costs. Any refund due or balance payable will be determined under the agreement and applicable law.
4. Cancellation by StridEdge
If we are unable to continue a project, we will address work completed and any unearned advance payments in accordance with the project agreement and applicable law.
5. Milestone payments
Where payments are linked to milestones, the agreement should identify the work covered by each milestone and any acceptance process. Amounts for completed work and uncompleted work will be reviewed in accordance with those agreed terms.
6. Third-party costs
Domain registrations, hosting, software licences, paid plugins, subscriptions, API usage and other third-party charges may be non-refundable under the relevant provider’s terms. Where applicable, these costs should be identified in the quotation or invoice. Refunds for third-party purchases may depend on the provider.
7. Defects and agreed scope
If you believe a delivered item materially fails to match the agreed written scope, contact us with details and supporting information. We will review the issue and provide any remedy required by the project agreement or applicable law. This policy does not remove mandatory consumer or contractual rights.
8. How to request a refund or cancellation
Email [email protected] and include your name, project or invoice reference, payment date and amount, reason for the request, and any supporting information. We will review the request and respond within a reasonable time. Any approved refund will be processed using an agreed payment method, subject to provider processing times.
