The CTD Blood Analysis Platform is a full-stack healthcare reporting application designed to transform blood-test data into structured, explainable analysis reports. It combines a React and TypeScript interface with a Node.js and Express API, supported by a MySQL database managed through Prisma.
At the core of the platform is a domain-specific analysis engine that evaluates 69 biomarkers against configured reference ranges, identifies six cross-marker health patterns, and generates prioritised points for further discussion with healthcare professionals. The platform presents these findings as decision-support information rather than definitive diagnoses.
The application generates web-based and PDF reports from a shared report model, ensuring consistent analysis across both formats. Versioned clinical reference data and immutable report snapshots help preserve historical results and make previous reports reproducible when reference ranges change.
Additional capabilities include secure authentication, patient ownership controls, role-based administrative access, Stripe subscription handling, email workflows, and API documentation. Automated unit and integration tests, alongside Excel-comparison tests, help validate the analysis engine against the source workbook.
